With automated external defibrillator capability, the HeartStart XL delivers lifesaving defibrillator therapy. The ability to switch between AED and Manual Mode allows operators to access the unit's advanced therapeutic features which include selectable energy and synchronized cardioversion.
Additionally, True 1-2-3 operation makes defibrillation intuitive for all users, while AED mode guides users through the defibrillation process. Furthermore, SMART Biphasic Technology has been clinically proven to deliver high first shock efficacy for long downtime sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) patients, and effectively defibrillate across the full spectrum of patients.
At just under 14 lbs, the Philips HeartStart XL is easily transported throughout the hospital to the site where cardiac care is needed.
