The Medtronic RapidVac™ Smoke Evacuator is made to work with our Valleylab™ generators. When they’re synchronized, smoke is evacuated only when you activate your electrosurgical pencil. That reduces background noise — and maximizes filter life.
The filtration system is also designed to help keep your per-procedure costs low with an economical 25-hour activation time, with no need for additional prefilters or adapters.
The four-stage system incorporates:
- A prefilter to capture large particles
- A highly efficient ULPA filter to capture small particles
- A layer of activated carbon to absorb odors
- A post filter to provide a final stage of protection
