The intended use of the CardioTech V-EC is to detect veins and illuminate them for quick, precise, and 1st attempt painless vein punctures. The CardioTech V-EC is also designed to monitor and detect for infiltration and extravasation of fluids, from the IV into the surrounding tissue, designed for hospitals, doctor’s offices, home infusion therapy and ambulance care.
