The ConMed System 2450 Electrosurgical Generator is a robust and sophisticated device ideal for general and specialist surgeries. This electrosurgical generator features Dynamic Response Technology, which samples current and voltage 450,000 times per second and synchronizes them within 10 milliseconds to deliver precise and efficient outputs tailored to different tissue types. Surgeons can choose from a variety of modes, including four monopolar options (pure cut, blend cut, standard coagulation, and spray coagulation) and two bipolar modes (micro and macro). Connectivity is streamlined with a combined monopolar handswitch/footswitch jack, a separate handswitch jack for multiple accessories, and a serial interface port for integration with robotic and OR systems. The System 2450 is designed for ease of use with automatic programming that recalls the last user settings and front-panel volume control. Additionally, patient safety is enhanced with continuous Automatic Return Monitoring (ARM) to prevent unnecessary burns and reduce blood loss. This efficient and user-friendly system also supports integration with a smoke evacuation system, ensuring a clean and safe surgical environment.
